Friday June 29th at 9pm-6am it is a One Voice Knights of Prayer at Clifton Parish Church.

Once again there will be praying through the night with a special emphasis on seeing the Kingdom of God come in York.

We will be praying for

• the many churches over the city,
• cooperation through One Voice and Churches Together,
• the ministries and agencies based here in York and
• real revival in our city and nation.

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER IN YORK MINSTER - . 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Join with the millions around the world who are taking part in this prayer event.

The evening will consist of opportunities to pray in various formats with other believers of many traditions. We will pray for our communities, our nation and our world.

Bell Ringing at St Laurence’s

We have been asked if any of us would like to join the bell ringing. They meet on Monday evenings at 7:30 pm and say we can just drop in. They said if some of us want to get involved, special training events would be put on for us.

York Elim has opportunities for 3 interns in the academic year ‘07-’08. More details upon request.

Focus of internship:

• Personal development within the context of Christian Ministry, preparation for both full-time and part time ministry lifestyles.
• Training and discipleship.
• Testing of ministry calling/vocation.

What the intern will offer:

• Work with youth and/or, children and “tweenagers”.
• Work in Ministry Team on Sundays in main meetings.
• Commitment to the training and opportunities offered.

• Music, worship-leading opportunities.
